February 17 – Cruising the Great Australian Bight

The seas are calm today and we are enjoying some leisurely cruising.  Lectures today included a destination lecture on the founding and development of Western Australia and a world affairs lecture on the South China Sea, Southeast Asia and China’s overreach in the area.  It is pretty sobering.  Paul went to an afternoon lecture on a great prison escape from Fremantle’s prison boat the Catalpa.

They set up a Viennese Sunday buffet in the Crystal Cove with lots of lovely foods to eat and gorgeous desserts.  The evening’s entertainment was a men’s trio singing oldies.  Very nice.
