March 9 – Cruising South Africa’s Coast

There is a lot going on on board today.  We attended a couple of lectures on South Africa’s history and the history of apartheid.  One of the lecturer’s, Rob Caskie, is a professional storyteller (yes, this is a profession).  He gave a talk on South Africa’s history and his delivery was very unusual and particularly interesting…like hearing a story.  Imagine that.

Lunch was another big gala buffet in the Crystal Plaza.  Too much food and all of it pretty and tasty.  We had a relaxing afternoon, dressed up for dinner and then headed back to the room for an early evening.
