March 22 - Cruising the South Atlantic Ocean

It is hot outside today, too hot to do laps on the Promenade Deck.  There weren’t too many people outside.  Today was more lectures about Africa and plate technics and other items related to where we are in the world.  The “highlight” of the day was the big reveal for the 2022 World Cruise.  We have already been to many of the ports and will have been to more by the time 2022 comes around.  After looking at it pretty carefully we eventually signed up for an open booking, which allows us to either book any cruise within six months or get our deposit back.  We are looking at only a segment or two of the world cruise that would include the Black Sea.

This evening we saw Steve Stevens, a comedian.  Just prior to the start of the show they ran a short film that he had put together about St. Helena.  Because there are so few flights to the island he got there several days early.  It is pretty quiet there and his film was pretty funny, as was his show.
